Family, Friends, Food and FUN!

Well 2006 is certainly getting off to a good start!  What better way to start the new year than with a PARTY!  Lindsay’s 2nd birthday party was a blast last weekend.  She was utterly spoiled by everyone in the family and by her friends too!  She’s a very lucky little girl!  We also spent some time visiting with Grandpa Mark, Lisa and Sam last weekend.  We don’t get to see them very often, so it’s nice to catch up!  As always, we took way too many pictures of everything, so there are another 100+ to peruse.

I also promised an update on Ayden’s 6-month appointment.  Everything is on track developmentally.  The concerns we had about his head seem to be correcting themselves without any special help.  He’s a whopping 16lbs 10oz, and 25.5inches long (both numbers are 25th percentile)… however his head measured 45cm which puts him in the 75th percentile – - stop snickering!  It’s not funny!  The pediatrician just said that he has lots of brains, and we’re sticking with THAT story!  He just has some growing into his head to do, that’s all.  Other than that, he hated the shots – and who wouldn’t.  The next appointment is at 9 months.  Until then….
