He’s a Whopper!

Owen is four weeks old today! Having reached this milestone prompted me to weigh him. Drum roll please… FOURTEEN POUNDS! Yes, four weeks and fourteen pounds! Unbelievable, isn’t it?!?! The child just keeps packin’ it on! And he seems pretty happy about doing it! He’s also just starting to crack a smile – still trying to catch it with the camera – it remains elusive. He is also just starting to vocalize by making little guttural sounds in the back of his throat – I suppose this is referred to a “cooing” in the text books. It’s pretty precious no matter what you call it! I’m really making a concerted effort not to miss any of Owen’s little developments due to the craziness and chaos of having two kids in the house, one of whom is very nearly two years old! Enjoy the pics of the past week! I’ll keep ‘em coming!

I think the only appropriate response to his weight is OH. MY. GOD.

Great pictures Chloe…I’m amazed you have time to put them on your site, but grateful that I can share in your daily activities…

It was so great to be with you during this important family event…I enjoyed every minute. However, my pics tell a different story…who is that person??? obviously did not have enough sleep!!!

Anyway Babe, everyone looks great and Owen is certainly growing fast!! Everything will even out by the time he is a year old.

Keep the pictures coming when you can…we are looking to seeing you all in August for a few days.

    Love you all,
    Nanna

  3. Sigh, sigh and more sighs…missing it all but grateful to see the pictures. Mega man and bubble boy, made me laugh. Loved the bubble pictures…how sweet.
